Data Deletion Instructions

Msgigo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This page explains how users can request deletion of their data from our systems.

1. What Data We Collect

When you use Msgigo, we may store the following data:

  1. WhatsApp Business account information
  2. Phone numbers connected to WhatsApp Business API
  3. Message metadata (not message content unless required for delivery)
  4. User account information (name, email, business details)
  5. Webhook event logs for system functionality

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data using any one of the following methods:

Option 1: Email Request (Recommended)

Send an email to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Include the following details:

  1. Registered email address
  2. WhatsApp phone number (if applicable)
  3. Business name
  4. Reason for deletion (optional)

Option 2: In-App Request

If you have access to your Msgigo dashboard:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Click Request Data Deletion
  3. Submit the form

3. Verification Process

For security reasons, we may verify your identity before processing the deletion request.

This helps prevent unauthorized data removal.

4. Deletion Timeline

  1. Data deletion requests are processed within 7–14 business days
  2. Some records may be retained temporarily for:
  3. Legal compliance
  4. Fraud prevention
  5. System security

These records are automatically removed once retention obligations expire.

5. What Happens After Deletion

Once your data is deleted:

  1. Your WhatsApp integration will stop working
  2. Your account access will be permanently removed
  3. Data cannot be recovered
